Home server

Always-on headless mini PC on Ubuntu Server, running my scheduled agents unattended.

role
Designed, built and run it myself. It works as my personal assistant: a weekday morning brief, overnight inbox triage, a weekly school review, and requests I send from my phone.

18 scheduled jobs, 5 of them AI agents and the rest plain scripts, each placed in the cheapest tier that can do the work.

Agents run in throwaway containers that can only reach 3 services, and never see my university login.

Home server architecture

Scheduled jobs are sorted into 3 cost tiers: plain scripts, a light model, and a heavy model only where accuracy matters. Requests from my phone go through a queue with daily usage caps.

Agents run in throwaway containers that hold one credential each and can reach only 3 services. A separate non-AI worker holds the university login, and a heartbeat catches any missed run.

Built with Claude Code multi-agent workflows: I designed the architecture, owned the decisions, and verified the output; agents wrote most of the code.
